2+ Players - Card-shedding Game
This card-shedding game is reminiscent of Crazy Eights, UNO, and Mao: the goal is to shed all cards from your hand by following the active rules.
Set the 3 rule cards for “Border”, “Suit”, and “Number” in the center of the table. Randomly select 2 rule cards to be faceup (active) and 1 to be facedown. Deal 7 cards to each player and flip the top card of the deck faceup. This is the play pile.
Play progresses clockwise. On your turn, you must match at least 1 attribute of an active rule with the top card of the play pile. If you do not have a valid play on your turn, you must draw a card. Players can Jump In (play out of turn) if they match both active rules. If you match any 2 attributes on your turn (regardless of whether or not those rules are active), you may flip the inactive rule and 1 active rule (2 rules must always be active). You may instead opt to skip a player or reverse turn order. With jump ins, faster play is encouraged which may result in errors any erroneous play should return the invalid card to the owners hand with a 1 card penalty.
